Health Safety Environment (HSE) Policy
OCEANVISION ENERGY provides Project Management, Manpower Supply, Procurement, Marine Support Services, Maintenance, Construction, and Installation Services in the energy sector.
It is committed to providing safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-relatedinjury and ill health and to protecting the environment that is appropriate to the purpose, size, and context of OCEANVISION ENERGY and to the specific nature of its occupational health and safety risks and opportunities and environmental impacts of its activties and services to which all employees and other stakeholders who may be affected by the conduct of our operations are exposed.
In fulfilling this commitment, the Top Management of OCEANVISION ENERGY shall demonstrate visible leadership to the HSE Management System (HSE MS) by taking overall responsibility and accountability for the provision of safe and healthy workplaces and activities and ensure that adequate resources are assigned to implement and improve the HSE management system and as well engage the workforce through Management Site Visits with a focus on “prioritizing the people”.
This approach has helped the workforce develop trust and confidence in the management and ultimately increases the organization’s HSE culture.
To achieve this, OCEANVISION ENERGY operates an HSE MS following requirements of ISO45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, and this HSE policy that provides the overall sense of direction and framework for setting HSE objectives and taking actions to achieve the intended outcomes ofthe HSE MS. In line with this, OVEL plans its activities to:
a. Ensure fulfilment of applicable HSE legal requirements and other HSE requirements.
b. Eliminate hazards and damage to assets and reduce occupational health and safety risks.
c. Prevent adverse environmental impacts through the prevention of pollution and harm and degradation arising from the organization’s activities and services.
d. Ensure continual improvement of the HSE MS to enhance HSE performance.
e. Ensure consultation and participation of workers, and where there exist, workers representatives in HSE matters.
f. Provide workers with relevant HSE training to ensure that they are competent.
OCEANVISION ENERGY maintains high safety standards and “Gaol Zero Incident” vision, meaning that we have an ethical attitude saying that no one should be affected as a result of accidents within OVEL operation.
This creates a high-level expectation for leadership and the workforce that all incidents can be prevented as we drive toward achieving operational excellence.
This policy shall be communicated, understood, and applied within the organization and be available to relevant interested parties through the OVEL website, notice board, and upon request.
This policy shall be reviewed as often as required and annually in Management Review by Top Management to ensure it remains relevant and appropriate to the context of OCEANVISION ENERGY and its strategic direction.
